MAVBase™ serves as a comprehensive monitoring and remote management platform developed by MetraAV® tailored for automation, audio-visual (AV), networking, and surveillance integrators. This application facilitates improved client service by enabling the management and configuration of all device settings while proactively addressing issues before they impact systems.

Currently compatible with Big Dog Power power distribution systems, MAVBase™ is set to expand its compatibility with additional products in the future. Integrators benefit from the ability to automatically or manually reboot devices, establish schedules, monitor power usage and temperatures, and maintain client systems efficiently through an intuitive smartphone interface. This capability significantly reduces the need for time-consuming support calls and on-site service visits.

The app's design prioritizes flexibility, allowing integrators to program functionalities by outlet or device in alignment with their specific workflows. When paired with the award-winning Big Dog Power Smart Power Distribution Unit (PDU), MAVBase™ enables AV professionals to implement surge protection, remote control, smart home integration, and rack temperature management seamlessly. The app-connected PDU features up to twelve individually controllable outlets equipped with power metering, self-healing functionalities, and automatic reboot capabilities, fostering more efficient remote management of connected devices. Additionally, it includes innovative replaceable surge modules that protect connected devices by sacrificing a single module during surge events.
